From enjoying leisurely breakfasts to discovering hidden photography spots, a longer stay lets you experience everything that makes our retreat special. 

Your private retreat features a well-appointed kitchenette for light meal preparation only and continental breakfasts. Enjoy fresh coffee, toast, and simple refreshments with all the essentials provided. We'll quietly refresh your crockery and glassware daily, ensuring you always have clean servingware at hand.

Love outdoor dining? Make the most of our Weber BBQ with  countryside views, and when conditions allow, discover the joy of authentic wood-fired pizza making under the stars.

• We welcome dogs and request that you add them to your booking. 
• The carriage is cosy and suited to smaller dogs. 
• Dogs must be fully vaccinated and these need to be up to date.
• Dogs are also required to be wormed regularly or have to be wormed for tape worms at least 48 hours prior to arrival. This is for the prevention of spreading sheep measles. 
• Please send a copy of the vaccination certificate to us at the time of booking.
• Dogs must be under control at all times.
• Dog sitting can be arranged if you have a special event to attend or would like an adults only trip out. Just ask us!
• Dogs are not to be left unattended on the property without our consent. Again, just ask.

 Life on the land comes with its own unique sights, sounds, and, yes, smells! Our 3-acre property is home to a mix of tame and wild animals, from the resident stag to wandering wildlife. You might hear the bellow of a deer, catch a whiff of farm life on the breeze, or spot nature in action. It’s all part of the experience - authentic, untamed, and right on your doorstep.

Turn your stay into a cycling adventure! Spontaneous explorers can hop onto our complimentary bikes (helmets included), while dedicated cyclists will find everything they need – from secure bike stands to e-bike charging stations. Bringing your four-legged friend? Our special doggy carrier lets them join the adventure too! Whether you're using our bikes, bringing your own, or would like us to arrange a hire, we've thought of everything to make your countryside cycling experience perfect. 

 No, we do not have guest  laundry facilities on-site, but we do provide a washing line for drying. If you need full laundry services, we can recommend a conveniently located laundromat in Alexandra, just a short drive away. 

 Reservations Policy

• Booking Confirmation: A 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. This deposit is non-refundable.
• Balance Payment: The remaining 50% is due 14 days before arrival.
• Cancellations: Guests may cancel or amend their booking up to 14 days before arrival, but the deposit will not be refunded.
• Late Cancellations: Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will be charged the full booking amount.
• No-Shows: The full booking amount will be charged.
• Amendments: Changes can be made up to 14 days before arrival, subject to availability. The 50% deposit remains non-refundable.
• Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend guests arrange travel insurance to cover unexpected changes, cancellations, or disruptions to their plans.

We know that unexpected events can sometimes disrupt even the best-laid plans. We recommend guests choose a reputable travel insurance provider that suits their needs.  It can provide coverage for unforeseen circumstances such as illness, travel delays, or other emergencies, offering you extra peace of mind.

 We operate a strict no-smoking and no-vaping policy across the entire property. Breaching this policy will incur a minimum $500 cleaning fee and may result in the stay being brought to an end.
